This is the first song from my developing second solo effort ‘Bad Hair In The House Of The King’ – it represents the end of a long creative drought. Lockdowns are good for something, right?! Back in 2014 I released a full album under the name Anova Skyward, inspired by Dave Grohl’s efforts on the first Foo Fighters album. I’ve always loved songs before drums, so while I’m a drummer I always have a melody in my head and a new chord progression pops out whenever I pick up a guitar.
