Biffy Clyro are one of my absolute favourite bands ever. This song accidentally became my anthem for 2020, and so instead of just a drum cover, I thought I’d attempt the whole shebang, because of what it means to me. I might have it wrong, but I think the lyrics are about mental health, and this year has been exceptionally tough in terms of physical and mental health, Simon’s lyrics really spoke to me, and I love how uplifting the melodies are while the words are a little more ambiguous. It ain’t perfect, it ain’t Biffy but I hope I did it justice. Oh sorry Ben, I think I slightly changed some of your drum parts – I was working fast!
